I been playing with Chutney. I already make chutney for my honesty box but thought I would play around with new flavours that go with cheese. Thinking hampers cheese and Chutney for gifts. I have developed a new Chutney Spicy apple chutney using apple cider Vinegar. Apple cider Vinegar came from a chef friend of mine. The Chutney is lovely but becareful as it blows you head off. A bit dramatic of me but its spicy and tasty.
The next project I have finished Is restoring a Cheese cutting board. I rubbed it down to the bear wood and then have used food safe Butchers block oil to restore it. Not sure if it will be decorative piece or will use we will wait and see.
We have also repainted our toilet block in the barn looking good. Green and Cornish cream paint. Rob fitted a shelf and blue roll dispenser so already to use. Not taken a picture as who wants to see a picture of a toilet!
